The order of the Collector released on January 2 has ended on 28 February. After this, once again begging has started appearing. On Saturday, Tuesday, Tuesday, etc., there has been a gathering of beggars outside the temples.
In the third phase of the begging -free Indore campaign, Collector Ashish Singh had issued an order to seek a criminal case demanding and giving a criminal case. A case has been registered against three people in strictness from January 2 to February 28.
Appreciation to the country and abroad
The begging free campaign has been appreciated to the country and abroad. The beggar -free Indore campaign was launched by the Women and Child Development Department last year. In the first phase, the monks were explained by running an awareness campaign.
After this, people involved in begging were rescued. In this, 700 adults have been sent to Sevadham Ashram. At the same time, more than 60 children associated with begging were admitted to school. The Collector implemented a restrictive order from January 2 to February 28 to take strictness in the campaign.
In this, a case was reported to be registered under Section 223 of the Indian Justice Code, 2023 for giving anything as alms to the beggars and purchasing any material from them. The effect of this was that the beggary in Indore was almost completely closed.
28 people have been honored
The administration had innovated in this campaign. On giving information about people associated with begging, a reward of one thousand rupees was also announced. After this, the administration started coming every day. So far, the administration has honored 28 people by paying one thousand rupees.
