Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asked the industry not to become a ‘mere mute spectator’ and take advantage of the opportunities available in the global supply chain. He said that the world wants to strengthen its economic partnership with India. Prime Minister Modi said that India’s manufacturing sector should take advantage of the growing needs of the world by producing high quality products. He said in a webinar on regulatory, investment and ease of ease reforms after the budget, “Today India is providing stable policies and better business environment. I urge you to take big steps to carry forward the manufacturing and export of the country. ” The PM said that for the first time, five lakh women, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes entrepreneurs will be provided loans up to Rs 2 crore.
Work on increasing export
Modi said that the industry should focus on the manufacture of such innovative products using research and development, which are demanding abroad and this will promote exports. Modi said, “Today the world needs a reliable partner. The industry should not be only spectators, but should find opportunities in the global supply chain. ” He said that today India has become a growth engine for the global economy. The country has proved its flexibility even in difficult times.
For the first time, 5 lakh entrepreneurs will get loans up to Rs 2 crore
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that more than six crore MSMEs across the country need to develop new methods of loan disbursement to ensure timely and low -cost loans. Addressing the webinar organized after the budget for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME), the Prime Minister said that five lakh women, Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) entrepreneurs will be provided loans up to Rs 2 crore for the first time. Modi said, “We need to develop new ways for debt distribution, so that MSME can get low cost and time loan. Five lakh women, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes entrepreneurs will be provided loans up to two crore rupees for the first time.
PLI benefited a lot
The Prime Minister said that today the world is going through an uncertain political atmosphere and the whole world is seeing India as a ‘development center’. He said that the incentive (PLI) scheme related to the production started for 14 areas was invested by more than Rs 1.5 lakh crore and the total production was more than Rs 13 lakh crore. Highlighting the need to open new opportunities for manufacturing and export for the country, Prime Minister Modi said, “We have abolished more than 40,000 compliances at the center and state levels, which has improved business ease.”
