Northern Railway will operate more than 250 special trains in view of the convenience of passengers from New Delhi-Anand Vihar, Hazrat Nizamuddin and Old Delhi railway stations. Talked to Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, Chief Public Relations Officer of Northern Railway regarding the preparations for Northern Railway on Holi.

Himanshu Shekhar told that one of the main festivals of Sanatan Dharma is the festival of Holi. Many people who work or do business away from home want to celebrate the festival of Holi with their loved ones at home. For this, Northern Railway has made special arrangements for passengers. A strong arrangement has been made at every big station like New Delhi, Anand Vihar and other important stations where a large number of people come to catch the train. The duty of personnel has been increased in the safety of passengers.

Holi special announcement of many trains

In view of Holi, more than 250 special trains will be run by Northern Railway. Many trains have been announced in these. He said that it is seen that in the festival season, most of the number of people from New Delhi railway stations go towards UP-Bihar-Jharkhand-Assam. Their number is much higher than others. Therefore, special trains are being run for these areas. He informed that Vande Bharat Special Train will be run from New Delhi to Patna.

Northern Railway will also operate reserved and unreserved trains towards it. Our aim is that those who are going to their home on the festival of Holi, they can return to their work area through special trains.

Train number 04018/04017 Anand Vihar-Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Festival Special will be run via Bapudham Motihari, Raxaul, Gorakhpur. This train will open from Anand Vihar Terminal on March 13 and 20 at 9.00 am and reach Muzaffarpur at 6.00 am the next day. At the same time, it will open from Muzaffarpur at 7, 14 and 21 March at 7.30 am and reach Anand Vihar the next day at 6.00 am.

Train number 04030/04029 Anand Vihar-Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Festival Special will be run via Bapudham Motihari, Narkatiaganj, Gorakhpur. This train will open from Anand Vihar at 8, 11, 15 and 18 March at 9.00 am and reach Muzaffarpur at 6.00 am the next day. In return, on 9, 12, 16 and 19 March from Muzaffarpur, it will open at 7.30 am and reach Anand Vihar at 6.00 am the next day.

Train number 02436/02435 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Special (from Pataliputra-Chhapra-Ballia-Varanasi-Prayagraj-Kanpur route): This train will leave from New Delhi to Patna from March 08 to March 20, 2025 (except Monday) at 08:30 am and reach Patna at 22:30 pm on the same day. In return, this train from Patna to New Delhi will run from March 09 to March 21, 2025 (except Tuesday) at 05:30 am and reach New Delhi at 20:10 pm.

Train number 04062/04061 Delhi-Patna-Delhi Superfast Utsav Special (from DDU-Prayagraj-Ghaziabad route): This train from Delhi to Patna will depart daily from March 07 to March 17, 2025 at 23:55 pm and reach Patna at 16:40 pm the next day. In return, it will leave from Patna to Delhi from March 07 to March 18, 2025 at 17:50 pm and will reach Delhi at 10:25 am the next day.

Train number 04070/04069 Anand Vihar-Rajgir-Anand Vihar Superfast Festival Special (from Patna-DDU-Prayagraj Marg): This train will run from Anand Vihar to Rajgir at 07, 11, 14 and 18 March, 2025 at 00:20 pm on March 07, 2025, will stop Patna at 16:15 pm on the same day and reach Rajgir at 19:50 pm.
