The next day at four o’clock on Friday, Bhasma Aarti will celebrate Rangotsav according to the tradition of the temple. On behalf of the temple committee, priests will offer one kilo of herbal gulal to Lord Mahakal.

There will be special worship of Mahakal

Temple Administrator ADM First Kaushik told that the festival of Holi in Mahakal temple will be celebrated with joy according to tradition. On Falgun Purnima, traditional Holika Pujan and Dahan will be held in front of Omkareshwar temple in the temple complex at 7.30 pm on Thursday. Earlier, there will be special worship of Lord Mahakal in the evening Aarti.

The priests will offer one kilo of herbal gulal to God. After the Aarti of God, the priests, priests will worship and burnt Holika in the premises. During this time, there will be adequate arrangements for crowd control in the campus. Non -essential people will not be allowed to stop.

Rangotsav will be celebrated, ban on hudang

Rangotsav will be celebrated at Bhasma Aarti at 4 am on Dhulendi on Friday. The priests will celebrate the Rangotsav by offering a kilo of gulal provided by the temple committee to Lord Mahakal. During this time, devotees sitting in Nandi, Ganesh and Karthikeya Mandapam will see the royal splendor of King Mahakal.

Keeping in mind the dignity and purity of Jyotirlinga, no one is allowed to play Holi according to the decision of the Management Committee. In Sandhya and Shyan Aarti on Dhulendi, God will also have one kilo of gulal.

Will not be able to take color, pressure guns etc.

In the Mahakal temple, for a few years, in the name of Rangotsav, there was a fierce shower of Gulal and colors. Last year, there was a fire in the sanctum sanctorum due to excessive use of chemical -rich gulal on Dhulendi. Many people including priests, priests and servants were injured in this accident.

One of these servants also died during treatment. Taking lessons from the incident, the temple committee has completely banned the use of color gulal coming from outside. On Dhulendi and Rangpanchami, only symbolic herbal gulal will be offered to Lord Mahakal. It will be provided by the temple management committee. No devotees will be able to take the equipment etc. to the equipment.
