Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will visit Balochistan for the first time after the train hijack incident in Pakistan. According to the news of Pakistan’s Jio TV, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will visit Quetta after the deadly kidnapping incident of Jafar Express. During this time, he will call on reviewing the law and order situation in Balochistan as well as expressing solidarity with the people.
The Prime Minister’s visit is taking place on Tuesday after the security forces claim that all 33 Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) terrorists who kidnapped Jafar Express on Tuesday. The Jafar Express had more than 400 passengers, who were taken hostage. Announcing the conclusion of the campaign that lasted for almost two days, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said that the armed forces participated in action against the terrorists who were in contact with their helpers and masterminds located in Afghanistan through “satellite phones”.
Suicide assailant made passengers shield
The army spokesman said that units of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Special Services Group (SSG), Army and Frontier Core (FC) participated in the campaign. The Pakistani Army spokesperson claimed that 21 passengers were martyred by the terrorists before the evacuation campaign started. Also, four FC personnel also died during the attack in Dhukf area of ​​Bolan district. Lieutenant General Chaudhary said, “Whoever has done it will be found and brought to the dock of justice.” He said that suicidal attackers – were present with the hostages and were using them as a human shield – the snipers were killed.
How many passengers are injured
At least 29 people injured in the Jafar Express incident have been transferred to the provincial capital – 16 and 13 have been brought to CMH and Civil Hospitals respectively. According to the hospital administration, the condition of the injured passengers is stable and they are out of danger. Also, 47 passengers have been transferred from Mach. Meanwhile, many of the bodies and injured of the people martyred in the incident have been taken to the Mach railway station and after necessary administrative action they will be sent to their original areas.
Defense Minister Khwaja Asif said-Pakistan is not very good
Reacting to the incident, Defense Minister Khwaja Asif said that Pakistan is not weak nor has it kneeling in front of the terrorists. He alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is speaking on the Indian media and social media platforms as a language used by Afghanistan’s accounts. Asif said, “We need to rise above political interests (on such occasions) national unity.”
