New Delhi:
Russian President Vladimir Putin On Tuesday, Western countries and Ukraine giving a clear message to Decree Signed, which expanded the scope of when Moscow could use nuclear weapons.
The move comes on the 1,000th day of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and after the United States gave Kiev permission to use long-range missiles to attack military targets inside Russia.
“An attack by a non-nuclear-weapon state with the participation of a nuclear-weapon state would be considered a joint attack,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday, sending a clear message to Ukraine and its Western supporters.
Peskov said, “It was necessary to bring our principals in line with the current situation.” He described this update as a very important document, which should be studied abroad.
Putin has issued a series of nuclear threats during his nearly three-year campaign against Ukraine, which has raised concerns among Western countries.
This new principle also allows Moscow to launch a nuclear strike in the event of a massive air attack, even if it uses only conventional weapons.
When the Kremlin first made these changes public in September, Peskov called it a warning against anyone.
Speaking on the 1,000th day of the war, Peskov said that Western countries have collectively waged war against Russia, but we will withstand it until the end.
