Alliance Air started direct flight service between Indore and Prayagraj. Due to increasing demand for Mahakumbh, tickets increased from Rs 4.5 thousand to Rs 20 thousand. The first flight will depart on January 11. Due to limited seats and flights once a week, people are booking in advance.

For the convenience and comfortable travel of the devotees going to Prayagraj Mahakumbh, Alliance Air announced direct air service from Indore and started booking a week ago. The first flight will depart on Saturday night and all its seats were booked a day in advance.
4.5 thousand ticket reached 20 thousand
People have spent 15 to 20 thousand rupees to reach Mahakumbh in two hours. On January 3, the ticket was worth four and a half thousand rupees, which reached 20 thousand rupees on Friday.
A large number of devotees from across the country as well as Indore will reach the Mahakumbh being organized in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. To facilitate the movement of devotees, air travel facilities along with trains are also being made available.
Flight from Indore on Saturday, from Prayagraj on Monday
Alliance Air had announced the Prayagraj flight and started booking a week ago. This flight will depart from Indore once a week in January on Saturday night and will return to Indore from Prayagraj on Monday.

Indore to Prayagraj: 11, 18, 25 January
Prayagraj to Indore: 13, 20, 27 January

All 70 seats of the small plane leaving on January 11 have been booked. Since Sunday the flight tickets had crossed Rs 15,000 mark. Even for commuting, ticket prices have reached around this.
State President of Travel Agent Association of India, Hemendra Singh Jadon, says that since there is only one direct flight to reach Kumbh, people are making more bookings, hence its fares have increased. Due to flight, people are also saving time for traveling and coming.
Facility will be available only for three days
Indore-Prayagraj flight will come from Delhi to Indore on Saturday and go to Prayagraj and on Monday from Prayagraj to Indore and go to Delhi. Flights from Indore to Prayagraj will operate on 11, 18 and 25 January and flights from Prayagraj to Indore will operate on 13, 20 and 27 January.
This will be the schedule of Indore-Prayagraj flight
- Indore-Prayagraj – Flight number 9I 342 will depart from Indore at 8.05 pm and reach Prayagraj at 10.05 pm.
- Prayagraj-Indore – Flight number 9I 340 will depart from Prayagraj at 7.40 pm and reach Indore at 9.40 pm.
