Jharkhand Exit Poll: Soren may bid farewell, NDA seems to be getting majority

Voting for Jharkhand Assembly elections 2024 has ended. The results of exit polls of news channels and agencies have come. According to exit polls, Soren government seems to be leaving Jharkhand and NDA is returning to power in the state. According to the exit poll of Materialise, there is going to be a change of power in the state and this time BJP coalition government is seen to be formed in Jharkhand, whereas here the ‘Indi’ alliance formed with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Congress and RJD faces a big setback. It is visible.

According to the exit poll, the BJP alliance is estimated to get 42 to 47 seats in Jharkhand. At the same time, India Block led by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has been claimed to win 25 to 30 seats, while others have been estimated to win 1 to 4 seats. At the same time, Peoples Pulse in its exit poll has given 44-53 seats to NDA and 25-37 seats to India Alliance.

Voting ends in Jharkhand
Voting took place on 38 assembly seats of Jharkhand in the last phase. Out of 38 seats in the second phase, 18 seats are from Santhal, 18 seats are from North Chhotanagpur and two seats are from Ranchi district. There is a tough fight in the state between the ruling JMM-led ‘India’ alliance and the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The first phase of voting was held on 13 November.

In the Jharkhand elections, the ruling JMM-led ‘India’ alliance is trying to retain power on the strength of its welfare schemes, while the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is trying to achieve this. An Election Commission official said that till 5 pm, 67.59 percent voting took place in 38 assembly seats. Voting was peaceful.

Let us tell you that Jharkhand has a history of change of power every five years. In the 81-seat Jharkhand Assembly, 41 seats are required for majority. In the 2019 assembly elections, the JMM-led alliance won 47 seats and the NDA won 25 seats.
