BJP leader Nitish Rane addressed Hindu Garjana Sabha in Sangli on Friday.
Maharashtra government cabinet minister Nitish Rane on Friday gave a controversial statement regarding Muslims. In a meeting in Sangli, Maharashtra, he said that we won the elections because of EVMs and never denied it. The opposition did not understand the meaning of EVM. It means- ‘Every vote against Mullah’.
Rane said- ‘We do not need the votes of Muslims to win the elections. I did not go to the Muslim community to ask for votes. I told them to do whatever they want, but this time Hindus are aware and they have made us win.
I am a staunch Hindu leader and I have always been critical towards him, so he planned to defeat me. To defeat me, funding was collected from Saudi and Mumbai, but Hindus did not bow down before them.
Nitish said- ‘You know how our opponents shout about EVMs. They are not able to digest how Hindus are coming together and voting for Hindus. They always blame EVMs. They do not understand the meaning of EVM.
He said- ‘The opposition does not understand in what context Hindus voted in the elections. EVM means every vote against Mullah. That is why we are proudly saying that we have won the elections because of EVMs and we three MLAs are sitting here.

Do they know where our Hindu sister lives and how rich she is? And then they prepare themselves. They decide which car to show, which clothes and which brand of watch to wear? The money for this also comes to them only by doing such work.
Opposition leader said – to convert some people into Hindus and Muslims Sharad Pawar faction leader Jitendra Awhad hit back at the statement and targeted BJP. He said, ‘Nitesh Rane has taken oath by placing his hands on the Constitution. Some people have been hired to convert Hindus into Muslims.
Awhad said that since the elections, people have doubts about EVMs. In this election, 201 booths were attacked and 201 booths were captured. He said, ‘Those who came to vote used to come out with ink on them, they were not allowed to vote. The Election Commission should take action against the SP and Election Commission officials.
Earlier Kerala was called mini Pakistan Earlier on December 29 also, Nitish Rane had given a controversial statement regarding the victory of Kerala and Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi from Wayanad. Nitesh is the Minister of Fisheries and Port Development in the Government of Maharashtra. Nitesh is the MLA from Kankavali assembly constituency. He took oath as a minister in the Fadnavis government of Maharashtra on 15 December. He has been given the Ministry of Fisheries and Port Development. He has been in controversies earlier also regarding his statements. Many cases of hate speech are already registered against him.
Nitish’s elder brother Nilesh is MLA from Kudal and his father Narayan Rane is MP from Ratnagiri Sindhudurg. His father has also been the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
