The second budget of Dr. Mohan Yadav government in Madhya Pradesh was presented by Deputy Chief Minister Finance Jagdish Deora in the Assembly. He started his speech from the Sanskrit verse and said that the government’s goal is to develop Madhya Pradesh. This budget is worth Rs 4.20 lakh crore.

  • A budget of Rs 12876 crore was kept for the Home Department, which is Rs 1585 crore more than the previous year.
  • For better infrastructure of jails, 4 jails are being constructed and capacity increase by constructing new barracks. A budget of Rs 794 crore was made for the jail department.
  • The Central Regional Scheme is being launched for modernization of the police force. In this, technical equipment will be provided to the police force along with vehicle facility.

50 crores for Tithi Darshan Scheme

Provision of Rs 10 crore for Shri Krishna Paithe Yojana. Similarly, a provision of Rs 30 crore was made for the Ram Path Gagan Yojana. Library, auditorium, literature material sales centers will be built in Geeta Bhavan, a provision of Rs 100 crore was made for this. A provision of Rs 50 crore has been made for the pilgrimage scheme. A provision of Rs 1610 crore was made in the tourism culture and religious field, which is Rs 133 crore more than the previous year.

14 monuments are being constructed

To promote tourism, 14 monuments of religious and cultural importance are being constructed at a cost of Rs 507 crore. The total budget of the health sector has been proposed at Rs 23535 crore, which is Rs 2992 crore more than the previous year. The proposed sports stadium in each assembly constituency will also be used for helipad.

2039 crore rupees for Ayushman scheme

A provision of Rs 2039 crore was made for the Ayushman scheme. Chief Minister Vrindavan Gram Yojana will be started under the concept of rich person and family as well as rich village. A provision of Rs 100 crore has been made here to promote animal husbandry fisheries and food version. For the purpose of assisting the panchayat in all -round development, a provision of Rs 6007 crore has been made this year, increasing the grant of Rs 2507 crore for basic services.

4400 crores for MNREGA

4400 crore for Pradhan Mantri Awas Gramin Yojana, 4050 crore for MNREGA 1000 crores for Pradhan Mantri Jan Mana Awas Yojana. 1056 crore for Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana Road. 960 crores for Prime Minister Nutrition Power Building.

800 crores for National Rural Livelihood Mission. 594 crore has been proposed for Swachh Bharat Mission and Rs 227 crore for Prime Minister Agricultural Irrigation Scheme. A budget of Rs 1950 crore has been kept for panchayat and rural development. Under the water Ganga enhancement campaign, water structures ghats and religious places will be cleaned and raised.

18715 crore for urban development

The Finance Minister said in the speech that a provision of Rs 18 thousand 715 crore is proposed for the year 2025-26 for urban development, which is about 2 thousand crores more than 2024-25. To promote tourism in the state, 14 monuments of religious and cultural importance are being constructed at a cost of about Rs 507 crore.

Omkareshwar Mahalok will be constructed

One of the 12 Jyotirlingas of the world, Omkareshwar Mahalok will be constructed on the lines of Mahakal Lok of Ujjain in Omkareshwar. The museum and Acharya Shankar International Advaita Vedanta Institute is being developed with the purpose of spreading the life philosophy of Acharya Shankar, the pioneer of Advaita Vedanta Darshan.

Solar park will be developed

The Finance Minister said- 2000 MW solar park will be developed between Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The state’s first solar power storage plant is being set up in Morena. Under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Mana Yojana, a target has been set to energize 2060 tribal dominated villages in the state with solar energy.
