- Collector and District Magistrate Dr. Girish Kumar Mishra, using the powers under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code 2023, against those selling Chinese Manja in the district, has banned Chinese Manja used in kite flying within the entire revenue limit of District Rajgarh. A restrictive order has been passed prohibiting the use of.
- On the other hand, in Jirapur, the police has filed an FIR against a shopkeeper for selling Chinese slippers. In the order issued by the Collector and District Magistrate, it has been said that it is often seen that in the month of January-February, kite festival is organized on a large scale on the occasion of Makar Sakranti festival as per the popular belief and tradition.
- Kites are also flown individually from house to house. The Chinese string used for flying kites is very sharp. Due to this, common people suffer serious physical harm.
- The Chinese Manja used in kite flying is extremely dangerous and deadly due to its sharp edge, keeping this in view I am satisfied that to avoid any such tragic incident, it is necessary to issue restrictive instructions for the prevention of Chinese Manja. .
