NCERT New Books 2025: NCERT books of Class 4-8 are now cheaper, new price will be implemented from this day

NCERT New Books 2025: NCERT has announced new textbooks for class 4, 5, 7 and 8 for academic session 2025-26. From now on, children and parents will be able to buy at a very low price.

Ncert new books 2025: The National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced new textbooks for classes 4, 5, 7 and 8 for the academic session 2025-26. The purpose of these books is to improve education and equality in accordance with the new education policy 2020.

Availability of new books

  • Class 4 and 7: New books for these classes will come by the end of March 2025 and by April, books of all subjects will be available in the market.
  • Class 5 and 8: New books for these classes will be available from 15 May 2025. For these classes, the first 30 to 45 -day bridge course will be organized, which will be available free of cost on the NCERT website in the last week of March.

The price of books will be low

NCERT has reduced the price of books by 20% this time, so that parents and students can get financial relief. Apart from this, NCERT has planned to print around 15 crore books, which is three times more than before.

NCERT New Books 2025: Online Availability

To ensure the access of books, NCERT has tied up with e-commerce companies like Amazon and Flipkart. With this, students and parents will be able to get books at home without any delivery charge.

Importance of Bridge Course (NCERT Textbooks 2025-26),

NCERT will run a bridge of 30 to 45 days for classes 5, 6 and 8, which will help students to accommodate the old syllabus into the new syllabus. So that students can easily understand the subject and children can be taught in sports. This course will be available on the NCERT website in the last week of March.

Training program for teachers will be started

The NCERT will start online capacity building program for teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya (NVS) from 25 March, so that they can be able to teach according to the new course and make it easier for children to read and understand.

This initiative of NCERT is an important step towards bringing quality and equality in education. Timely availability of new books, reduction in value, online access and training programs for teachers will be important for students’ overall development.
