Israel Hezbollah War: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s house has once again been targeted by a rocket attack. Two flares fell near the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the central city of Caesarea on Saturday, Al Arabiya News reported, with security services describing the incident as “serious”. “Two flares fell on the courtyard outside the prime minister’s residence,” police and the Shin Bet internal security agency said in a joint statement after the attack. Probably it was a rocket attack.

According to Israeli security agencies, the Prime Minister and his family were not at home at the time of the incident. For the second time in about a month, PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence has been targeted. It is feared that Hezbollah terrorists have carried out this attack. Israeli security agencies “An investigation into this incident has been initiated and is considered a very serious and dangerous incident.” Israeli President Isaac Herzog condemned the incident and warned against an increase in violence in the public sphere.

There was an attack on 19th October also

Earlier on October 19, a drone attack was carried out targeting the same residence of Netanyahu. Even at that time the Israeli Prime Minister had narrowly escaped the attack. Later, Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah took responsibility for the attack. Netanyahu then accused Hezbollah of attempting to assassinate him and his wife. Since September 23, Israel has stepped up bombardment of Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, sending ground troops after almost a year of limited, cross-border fire launched by Hezbollah militants over the war in Gaza.

The attack occurred in Caesarea, Israel, about 20 kilometers (12 mi) south of the Haifa city area. The area has been regularly targeted by Hezbollah for some time. The Israeli military said two people were wounded when a “heavy rocket attack” from Hezbollah hit a synagogue in Haifa on Saturday. The Israeli military claimed that it had already intercepted 10 projectiles falling into Israel from Lebanon. Hezbollah claimed several rocket attacks on northern Israel, saying they targeted military sites, including a naval base in the Haifa area.
