Rajasthan Royals have prepared a strong team for next year’s IPL. In the mega auction completed today, Rajasthan Royals have succeeded in getting a great player in their fold. After the auction the team is looking much better. The team has tried its best to fill the places of its big and star players which had been released. However, it remains to be seen how the team performs when the IPL starts in March next year.
Rajasthan team will field under the captaincy of Sanju Samson
Sanju Samson is going to captain Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025 also. The team had retained 6 of its players before the mega auction. In this, Captain Sanju Samson was kept with him for Rs 18 crores. Opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal was also given Rs 18 crore. The team had retained Dhruv Jurel and Riyan Parag for Rs 14 crore. Whereas Shimron Hetmyer was retained for Rs 11 crore and uncapped Sandeep Sharma for Rs 4 crore.
The team played a big bet on Joffra Archer
In this mega auction, the team bought Joffra Archer as its most expensive player, for whom the team had to spend Rs 12 crore 50 lakh. The team did not spend more than Rs 10 crore for any other player. Jofra Archer will now fill the void left by Trent Boult’s departure. Even before this, Joffra has played for this team. This is how he returned home. It remains to be seen how she performs for her old team in next year’s IPL.
