Redmi has launched its cheapest 5G Smartphone in India. This phone of Redmi is completely made in India and has been launched especially keeping the Indian users in mind. Xiaomi’s sub-brand has increased the tension of brands like Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, Realme by launching its cheapest 5G smartphone. Apart from this, Redmi is also preparing for its new Note 14 series. This mid-budget smartphone series will be launched in the Indian market next month in December. This series has already been launched in the domestic market. This phone was introduced at the India Mobile Congress held last month.

Price of Redmi A4 5G

Redmi A4 5G is offered in two storage variants – 4GB RAM + 64GB and 4GB RAM + 128GB. The price of its base variant is Rs 8,499. At the same time, its top variant comes for Rs 9,499. The first sale of the phone will be held on November 27 on Mi.com and e-commerce platforms. This cheap 5G smartphone of Redmi comes in two color options – Sparkle Purple and Stary Black.

Features of Redmi A4 5G

This cheap 5G smartphone of Redmi comes with a 6.88 inch display. The display of the phone supports 120Hz high refresh rate feature. Waterdrop notch design has been given in the phone. The resolution of the phone’s display is 1640 x 720 pixels. The peak brightness of the display of this phone is up to 600 nits.

Redmi A4 5G is the first smartphone to be launched in India with Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor. This phone will support 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card. The phone is IP52 rated and its RAM can also be expanded up to 4GB.

Redmi A4 5G has a powerful battery of 5,160mAh, which supports 18W USB Type C fast charging feature. The company is offering 33W charger with it. This phone works on HyperOS based on Android 14. A single rear camera is provided in the back of the phone. It has a 50MP camera at the back and a 5MP selfie camera. For security, it will have a side mounted physical fingerprint sensor.
