Rohit Sharma made a strong move before the end of the game

The second match of the Test series between India and Australia has now started. The first day’s play is over. On the first day, Team India was seen on the back foot somewhere. However, there are still four days left and India will have a chance to make a comeback in the match. Meanwhile, just before the first day’s play was about to end, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma made a powerful move, if it had been successful then it could have changed the course of the match, but he failed. After this the Indian team had to return to the dressing room disappointed.

The match time had to be extended suddenly due to flood lights being switched off.

Actually, when the Australian team was batting, the flood lights suddenly switched off in the middle. This incident happened twice in Harshit Rana’s over. The first day’s play was to end at 5 pm Indian time. But due to the interruption caused by the lights being switched off, the umpire extended the match by three minutes. That means the first day’s play was now to end at 5:03 pm. When the last few minutes were left, captain Rohit Sharma suddenly bowled an over to Ravichandran Ashwin. No one understood why this decision was taken suddenly. Because when the lights were on and the match was about to end, then fast bowlers proved to be more lethal.

Rohit wanted Jasprit Bumrah to bowl the last over.

When Ravichandran Ashwin’s over ended, it was five past one. That means there were still two minutes left. Taking advantage of this opportunity, captain Rohit Sharma again handed over the last over of the day to Jasprit Bumrah. If the same Ashwin over had been bowled by a fast bowler then perhaps there would not have been any chance of another over being bowled. Thinking that the spinner ends his overs quickly, Rohit tried this trick. However, the Indian team could not get much benefit from this, because Australian opener Nathan McSweeney and Marnus Labuschagne, who came to bat at number three, kept the lead and did not allow any loss to their team.

Australia scored 86 runs at the loss of one wicket

After Team India was out for 180 runs, by the end of the first day’s play, Australia had scored 86 runs at the loss of one wicket. Marnus Labuschagne returned unbeaten on 20 and Nathan McSweeney on 38 runs. Only one wicket has fallen for Australia. Opener Usman Khawaja is out after scoring 13 runs. He was dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah. Now it remains to be seen how Team India counterattacks on the second day.
