SA20: South Africa’s famous T20 league SA20 started with a bang on January 9 in which the defending champion Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SEC) had to face a crushing defeat. MI Cape Town (MICT), which had a disappointing performance last season, defeated Sunrisers badly by 97 runs. 28 year old all-rounder Delano Potgieter played an important role in this victory of MI, who did wonders with both ball and bat. Potgieter scored 25 runs in the first 12 balls to take Cape Town to 174/7 and then wreaked havoc with the ball, eliminating half of the Sunrisers team single-handedly. With this he has made a big record in his name. Potgieter took 5 wickets for 10 runs in his three overs. In this way he gave the second best performance of SA20 with the ball. Not only this, this is the best performance of any medium pacer bowler in SA20 so far.
