SBI PO Prelims: Preliminary Examination will be conducted by State Bank of India (SBI) for the posts of Probationary Officer (PO). This exam will be held on 8 March, 16 March and 24 March. Candidates who have registered online are eligible to appear in this government examination. Candidates preparing for government jobs must know that for admission to the examination hall, the printout of the admit card and valid identity card will have to be mandated. If a candidate fails to do so, he will not be allowed to appear in the examination. Candidates are advised to reach the examination center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time so that the last -time problems can be avoided. Also, carrying mobile phones, watches and other electronic equipment in the examination hall is strictly prohibited.

How is selection for SBI PO?
SBI PO selection process is completed in three stages – preliminary examination, main examination and interview/group practice. Candidates are required to know that the preliminary examination is only a qualifying phase. The final selection is done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the main examination and interview.
