Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari gave information to the media in this regard. He said that the examinations in the school will end on March 27 and after that classes will start from April 2.
Anganwadi center will be operated from 7 am to 9 am
Suresh Pujari said that during summer, Anganwadi centers will also be operated from seven in the morning to nine in the morning. The temperature has started reaching more than normal in many places across the state. He said, “People of districts like Buddhist, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Bolangir and Sundargarh are facing scorching heat. At the same time, there is a humid weather in the coastal region. Keeping in mind the current situation, we have issued instructions to various departments and district magistrates to take advance steps to deal with the scorching heat.
Instructions were given to avoid power cuts
The priest said, “In the last 10 years, more than 330 people have died due to heat. We have instructed the officials to take steps to curb the deaths due to heat. ”He said that the electricity department has been instructed to avoid power cuts between 11 am and 3 pm to 6 pm to 6 am.
