Even though my son has joined the Punjab team for Rs 80 lakh, even today I do hair cutting for Rs 70 and save for Rs 50. I want to maintain my simplicity throughout my life. I want to live like a common man. He said-

Kuldeep did not tell about playing cricket at home for a year. He used to leave school quietly. When he was selected for Under-19 in the district level tournament, he told at home. When this thing was suddenly told to all of us, we were surprised. At the same time we came to know about his inclination towards cricket.

I used to have a small hair cutting booth. Earning of Rs 500 is not possible in a day. Every rupee had great importance. I thought we send him to school to study but he is spending time playing instead of studying. On top of that, now money will also be wasted in the game, after which I scolded him severely.

Kuldeep Sen, a right-arm medium fast bowler, was born on 28 October 1996 in village Hariharpur of Rewa district. He started playing cricket at the age of 13. Under the guidance of Rewa Division coach Aryl Anthony, Kuldeep sharpened his bowling skills. Due to his excellent performance in divisional matches, he got a place in Madhya Pradesh’s Ranji team in November 2018.

Kuldeep had performed brilliantly while playing for Rajasthan Royals.

Father said- I will spend my life like this Kuldeep’s father Rampal Sen says that my son is playing international cricket, but I never feel that I have become a big man. I have always lived my life in poverty and less resources. Even today I like to live simply. No matter how big my son reaches, I am not going to close my shop.

Even today I do hair cutting and shaving with my own hands. I try to work at low prices. I like to live a life like this. I have also told my son that I am going to live among my people like before.
