The Indian team won the title for the second consecutive time by defeating China 1-0 in the final of the Asian Champions Trophy 2024. Earlier, India had also won this trophy in the year 2023. Neha Goyal, a resident of Sonipat, has been a part of the Indian women’s team in the ACT 2024 tournament. He performed brilliantly in the Asian Champions Trophy and played an important role in the team winning the title. Now she is soon going to start a new innings of life. She will take 7 rounds of marriage with Sunil, a resident of Karnal, on 24th November.
Hockey stick changed Neha’s life
The traditional wedding rituals have started at Neha Goyal’s house. While the Haldi ceremony took place at the house of her coach, former captain of the Indian women’s team and Dronacharya awardee Pritam Siwach. After the consent of both the families, love marriage is now happening as arranged marriage. Neha started her struggle at the age of just 7 years. He has three sisters, who were brought up by his mother, Savitri Devi. Neha tells that to fulfill her small happiness, she also worked in a factory. When she reached sixth grade, she took up hockey stick with the hope that she would get good shoes and clothes. He never thought that this hockey stick would change his life. Coach Pritam Siwach recognized the talent hidden in him and gave him better coaching while honing it. With his blessings, she was successful in playing hockey at the international level today.
Happy to win Asian Champions Trophy
Today Neha Goyal does not need any identity and is shining like a star. Neha says that after winning the Asian Champion Trophy for the second consecutive time, the happiness of marriage has also doubled. After fulfilling the responsibility for the country, she is now busy in marriage preparations. He believes that in the era of modernity, joint families are disappearing. My wish was to have a family that lives together, this dream of mine is also going to be fulfilled now. Sunil’s family from Karnal also lives as a joint family.
Met Sunil in Under-17 tournament
Neha Goyal said that she met Sunil while playing the Under-17 national tournament. Our friendship started from there. She said that she used to call Sunil affectionately as Sukkad. His nature is very calm and friendly. He works on an audit post in CAG in Kolkata and will take transfer to Delhi after marriage. Neha said that in the year 2015, her leg was injured and it broke. The doctor had forbidden him to play in future. Sunil had helped a lot then. Neha was taken to the doctor and helped in everything from physiotherapy to treatment. So that she could enter the field again.
