Expressing concern over the seriousness of his condition, farmer leaders released his detailed medical report. According to the report, the ketone body result of Jagjit Singh Dallewal is 6.53, which should be between 0.02 to 0.27 in normal condition. His uric acid is 11.64, whereas in normal condition it should be between 3.50 to 7.20.

Furthermore, direct bilirubin is 0.69, which should be less than 0.20 in normal condition. Their total protein is also low and there is deficiency of sodium, potassium and chloride in the body. The result of serum report of liver and kidney panel is 1.67, which should normally be less than 1.00.

Thanks to the leaders who came to Khanauri front

Farmer leaders said that yesterday United Kisan Morcha (non-political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha issued a joint letter. In this letter, all the farmer leaders who came to the Khanauri front were thanked and it was hoped that they would cooperate in further broadening and strengthening the ongoing movement for the MSP Guarantee Act and 13 other demands.

It was further written in this letter that “In view of the critical condition of Jagjit Singh Dallewal, we have a humble request to you that a mutual meeting should be held tomorrow or the day after tomorrow at Khanauri Front because in view of his condition, every moment is precious and we will leave the front and go out. We hope you will accept our request.”

Hunger strike observed in Telangana also

Apart from Punjab-Haryana, farmers from other states are also coming forward in support of Jagjit Singh Dallewal. Farmers in Khamman, Telangana held a hunger strike in support of Jagjit Singh Dallewal’s fast unto death. This hunger strike was a symbolic hunger strike of 12 hours.
