Farmers had to use their carts to carry the injured. Even media people were not spared. Even tear gas shells were fired on the farmers gathered in the fields. Kisan-Laborer Sangharsh Morcha chief Sarwan Pandher said that expired tear gas shells were fired at the farmers. About a dozen farmers were injured and were taken to Rajpura hospital.

On the argument of not having permission from the police, the farmers said that they had applied to the Modi government of Delhi and the Center for permission to come to Delhi, but no response has been received.

If the BJP government riding on the victory chariot after winning the Haryana elections does not take precautions then it will be completely responsible for the situation.
