After arresting Ranya Rao, investigators raided his house and recovered gold jewelery worth more than Rs 2 crore and cash worth Rs 2.67 crore. At the same time, Ramchandra Rao has denied involvement in the crime and said that he is “shocked and desperate” with the news of his step -daughter being arrested on the charge of smuggling.
