In the match in which Punjab Kings made the record of chasing the highest number of runs, another big record was created in the same match. The bowlers were badly beaten in the KKR vs PBKS match. A total of 42 sixes were hit in this match, which is a record. Before this, so many sixes had not been hit in any T20 match.

Highest score in IPL history

Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis created history while playing for Lucknow Super Giants. While chasing runs in the match against Chennai Super Kings, Stoinis scored unbeaten 124 runs. This is the highest T20 score by a batsman while chasing runs.

Most runs in powerplay

Sunrisers Hyderabad made another impressive record in the match played against Delhi Capitals. After destroying the bowlers in the first 6 overs, SRH scored 125 runs on the scoreboard without losing any wicket. This is the biggest powerplay score in T20 cricket which is almost impossible to break.
