Champions Trophy Ticket Price: Fans are eagerly waiting for Champions Trophy 2025. It is hosted by Pakistan, in which all the matches of the Indian team will be held in Dubai, because BCCI had refused to send the Indian cricket team to Pakistan. After this, the formula of hybrid model was adopted in this tournament. The Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to start from February 19. Now even before this the ticket prices are out, in which Pakistan Cricket Board has kept the cheapest ticket at 1000 Pakistani rupees. This will be equivalent to Rs 310 in Indian currency.
The cheapest ticket will be available for 1000 Pakistani rupees
This has been stated in an internal report of PCB, a copy of which is with PTI. According to the report, PCB has kept the minimum tickets for the matches to be held in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi at 1000 Pakistani rupees. The tickets for the matches to be held in Rawalpindi between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be priced at 2000 Pakistani rupees (620 Indian rupees) and 2500 Pakistani rupees (776 Indian rupees) for the semi-finals.
This is the price of VVIP ticket
PCB has kept the VVIP ticket for all the matches at 12000 Pakistani rupees (3726 Indian rupees) but in the semi-finals it will be priced at 25000 (7764 Indian rupees). The Premier Stand ticket in Karachi is priced at PKR 3500 (INR 1086), the ticket in Lahore is priced at PKR 5000 (INR 1550) and the ticket for the Pakistan vs Bangladesh match in Rawalpindi is priced at PKR 7000 (INR 2170). PCB wants to keep the VIP stand tickets in Karachi at Rs 7000, Lahore at Rs 7500 and the Bangladesh match at Rs 12500.
The host country always sells tickets.
18000 tickets will be available for fans. But it is not decided how many tickets a person can buy at a time and whether tickets will be available online or not. Under ICC tournament rules, the host country sells tickets for the matches. Keeps the revenue from them and hospitality boxes. Apart from this, it also gets hosting fees from ICC.
Ticket prices for Indian matches not disclosed
India’s matches are to be held in Dubai, hence PCB believes that it will get the money from tickets and hospitality boxes. The Emirates Cricket Board will be reimbursed some of the cost of hosting the Champions Trophy, which includes ground rent. But the PTI report does not mention what will be the ticket rates for India’s matches to be held in Dubai. If the Indian team plays the semi-finals and finals, they will also be held in Dubai.
This time a total of 8 teams will participate in the Champions Trophy, in which Pakistan has qualified as the host. Teams from India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, England, Australia and South Africa will also participate.
