Elder brother had given up cricket career for Ishaan
This incident happened 15 years ago. Bihar team of School Game Federation had gone to Mumbai to play. Two brothers were selected in this team. Elder brother was the opener so he was able to perform. Whereas the younger brother did not get a chance. The younger brother felt a little disappointed, but the elder brother later removed that disappointment by quitting cricket.

When the chances of cricket in Bihar seemed limited, Ishaan moved towards Jharkhand. Kishan played an important role in the Jharkhand team for 4-5 years. Scored 273 runs against good Delhi bowling in a Ranji Trophy match in 2016–17. Ishaan hit 14 sixes, which is the most number of sixes by a batsman in a Ranji Trophy innings.
In 2017–18, Kishan became the leading run-scorer for Jharkhand with 484 runs in 6 matches. He was included in the India C squad for the 2018–19 Deoghar Trophy and scored a crucial century in the final, helping India C win their first title.
Turning point found in the match against Saurashtra
The turning point of Ishaan’s career came in the Ranji Trophy match against Saurashtra. It was being played at Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Ground in Rajkot. The groundsman had prepared a pitch, on which dust was already coming from the first over. This was the turning point. Jharkhand was batting first. Jharkhand collapsed for 168 runs. But, Ishaan played a stormy inning of 87 runs in just 69 balls. After dismissing Kishan, Ravindra Jadeja got a pat on the back from him. Rahul Dravid praised him a lot. This was one of the reasons for making Kishan the captain of India for the Under-19 World Cup 2016 held in Bangladesh.

Friends call me by definite name
Ishaan’s friends call him Definite. The nickname came from the character Defiant Khan played by Zeeshan Qadri in the film Gangs of Wasseypur. Ishaan’s character is similar to the character of Definite Khan, hence people call him by this name. Ishaan is a big fan of Adam Gilchrist, Rahul Dravid and Dhoni. Vaibhav’s father Sanjeev Suryavanshi told that ‘he was born on 27 March 2011. He started playing cricket at the age of 5. Kept playing cricket at home for 2 years. At the age of 7, I took him to the cricket academy in Samastipur.
Vaibhav played here for 3 years. Then we brought him to Gen X Cricket Academy located in Sampatchak, Patna. At the age of 10, Vaibhav played big matches and started scoring runs in senior matches as well.
Used to practice every day in the scorching heat of summer
Vaibhav used to practice at Patel Maidan in Samastipur. His coach Brajesh told that ‘Vaibhav used to work very hard. He used to have special time of 5 to 6 hours in the academy. During this time, seniors also used to practice with him. Even during the summer months, he used to practice in his sessions from 10 am to 3:30 pm, the results of which we are seeing today. He will not be seen resting anytime soon. He always keeps himself in practice.
