A case of death of an 8 year old girl due to cardiac arrest has come to light in Gujarat. 8 year old girl Gargi studied in third class. She fell unconscious in school on Friday morning. The girl was given CPR at the school and immediately taken to a nearby hospital. The girl was also kept on ventilator during treatment. But ultimately he could not be saved. Earlier, a case of death of a girl due to cardiac arrest in kids was also reported in Karnataka.

This incident took place at ‘Zeber School for Children’ located in Thaltej, Gujarat. Where Gargi Ranpara, studying in class 3, came to her school on Friday morning. According to the video seen in the school CCTV camera, suddenly the girl felt some restlessness and sat on a nearby bench.
According to school principal Sharmistha Sinha, the girl was having difficulty in breathing, after which she fainted. An attempt was made to give him CPR in school. And was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. Doctors told that the girl has suffered cardiac arrest. For which he was also put on ventilator. But ultimately he could not be saved.

This is not the first case when a child of such a young age has died due to cardiac arrest. Earlier, Tejaswini, who was studying in class 3 in Mysuru district of Karnataka, also died of cardiac arrest. These cases of cardiac arrest and heart related diseases in children are increasing the concern of parents.

- difficulty breathing
- Dizziness
- chest pain in rare cases
The sad thing is that most cases of cardiac arrest in children are identified only when they are brought to the hospital. And during the treatment the doctor asks what happened. Sometimes it can be detected only during X-ray, ECG or examination by a cardiologist.
