The Board of Secondary Education has prepared a fresh outline for the fifth and eighth grade examinations. Director of State Education Center Harjinder Singh says that preparations for the annual examination of fifth and eighth have been completed. The outline and marks plan has been released in relation to the examination.

Navdunia Representative, Bhopal. The outline and marks plan for the annual examination of the fifth and eighth annual examination of the Board of Secondary Education has been released. In this examination, the candidates will have to give more answers to the questions. This is because in this examination, more objective, spaces and very small answers will be asked more. At the same time, the number of long answer questions will be very less.
- This annual examination of Mandal will start from 24 February and will run till March 5.
- 12 thousand centers have been set up in the state for this examination.
- About 24 lakh students from both classes will be included.
- The State Education Center has issued guidelines in this regard.
- The overload marks have also been determined for the exam results.
- According to this, the overload marks 20 for the half -yearly examination, the annual examination written overload marks 60 and the overload marks for the annual examination project work have been fixed.
- The number of long answer questions in each subject will be four. At the same time, five multi -option questions, five spaces will be asked and six very small questions will be asked.
- The number of small answer questions will also be six. Question papers will be prepared on the basis of blue print set by the State Education Center.
- Questions for government schools will be prepared from the state level, while private schools will prepare the question papers on the basis of the prescribed blue print.
- Questions will be asked from state level SCERT textbook of language subject (Hindi, English and Sanskrit) in government schools and NCERT in private schools. And
- The question papers of other subjects will be asked from the textbook of NCERT.
68 thousand students from Bhopal district will be involved
About 68 thousand students will be involved in the examination of both classes in Bhopal district. It will have 34,213 students of fifth and 34,773 students of eighth. Around 250 centers have been built in the district.
Failure to score less than 33 percent
It will be mandatory to get different minimum 33 percent marks in each subject written examination and internal assessment. The candidate who does not score minimum qualifying marks in the external and internal assessment of each subject will have to take the exam again. If you do not pass it, then you have to study again in the same class.
Plan of exam marks
- Half-year-old 20 marks
- Annual Examination (Written) – 60 marks
- Internal Evaluation (Project Work) -20 digits
The pattern of written exam questions will be like this
- Multily optional question-five marks (five questions)
- Question-five marks filling spaces (five questions)
- High short question -12 marks (six questions)
- Short answer question -18 marks (six questions)
- Long answer question-20 marks (four questions)
