Apprenticeship in AAI: Airport Authority of India (AAI) has come up with a bumper offer for the youth who see their future in the civil aviation sector. AAI has decided to provide apprenticeship opportunity to the youth in the civil aviation sector. During this one year apprenticeship, the youth will be made proficient in all the technical intricacies related to the aviation sector, so that they can make a better future in this sector. Interested applicants can send their applications to AAI by 20th November.
According to AAI, there are a total of 90 posts for apprenticeship, with different posts for different streams. That is, 17 posts have been earmarked for Civil Engineer, 20 for Electric Engineer, 15 for Computer Science Engineer, 8 for Mechanical Engineer, 5 for Fitter, 10 for Mechanic Motor Vehicle, 10 for Electrician and 5 for Draftsman. This qualification is required for apprenticeship
According to the Airport Authority of India (AAI), this apprenticeship program has been classified on the basis of merit. Youth who have completed regular four-year graduation course, three-year diploma and ITI certificate from any discipline can apply for this apprenticeship. AAI has earmarked 30 posts each for graduate, diploma and trade. Here let us tell you that only youth of Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh origin can apply for this apprenticeship program.

Who will get how much stipend with training?
According to AAI, graduates selected for the apprenticeship program will get a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000, technical diploma holders will get Rs 12,000 and trade apprentices will get Rs 9,000. Also, the age of the applicants applying should be between 18 to 26 years as on 20 November 2024.
