Eknath Shinde described the meeting with Shah and Nadda as ‘positive’, CM’s decision will be taken in Mumbai.

After meeting Union Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda, Maharashtra’s caretaker Chief Minister Eknath Shinde described the meeting as “good and positive”. He said that there will be another meeting in which it is expected to decide who will take over the role of Chief Minister.

He said, “The meeting was good and positive. This was the first meeting. We discussed with Amit Shah and JP Nadda… There will be another meeting of the Grand Alliance. In this meeting, a decision will be taken on who will be the Chief Minister. This meeting will be held in Mumbai. “Will be in.”

Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, NCP chief Ajit Pawar and other Mahayuti leaders met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda in Delhi on Thursday. After the meeting, Shinde, Fadnavis and Pawar left for Mumbai from the national capital late in the night.

These leaders had gathered to discuss the formation of the new government in Maharashtra. Earlier, Shinde reiterated that there was no bar to the post of Chief Minister and for him “Ladla Bhai” was a title that held more importance than anything else.

Eknath Shinde said in the meeting, “I have made my role clear in the press conference yesterday that there is no obstacle regarding the Chief Minister of Mahayuti. This ‘Ladla Bhai’ has come to Delhi and ‘Ladla Bhai’ is not suitable for me for any other post. is greater than.”

Shinde had on Wednesday said that he would accept any decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the chief ministerial face for the state.

Shinde had said in a press conference in Mumbai, “I have told the Prime Minister that if my presence creates any obstacle in forming the government in Maharashtra, then he should have no hesitation in taking the decision. Whatever decision you take, That would be acceptable to me.”

Fadnavis had also said that there are no internal differences in the Mahayuti alliance and a decision on the Chief Minister will be taken soon after consulting the leaders.

Speaking to the media, Fadnavis had said, “There has never been any difference of opinion in our Mahayuti alliance. We have always taken decisions collectively. We will soon meet our leaders and finalize the decision.”

The results of Maharashtra Assembly elections were declared on November 23 but the ruling BJP-led Mahayuti alliance has not yet finalized any name for the Chief Minister.

BJP emerged as the largest party in Maharashtra’s 280-member Assembly with 132 seats, while its allies – Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar-led NCP won 57 and 41 seats respectively.
