The risk of climate change is now clearly visible. Due to ‘Global Varding’, 95% of the world’s major cities are either raining wildly or have been drought for a long time. Cities like Lucknow, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Delhi of India are also in the grip of this crisis.

Researchers at Bristol and Cardiff University studied 112 major cities in the world. It was revealed that the climate crisis is getting deeper due to the rapid changing weather. When there is heat, cold, drought or rain at a record level, it is called ‘global versing’.

Increased danger on India, reasons for malfunction and water management system

Researchers say that the impact of the climate crisis is doubling due to rapid urbanization in India and the old drainage system and water management system malfunction. Expert Sol Ouella has warned that if steps are not taken soon, the cities of India will be in danger.

Research: Weather completely changed in 24 cities

The entire climate pattern of 24 cities of the world has changed in the last two decades. The cities which were previously dried, rain has increased, whereas where it used to rain earlier, there is now drought.

  • Riyadh: The incidents of floods in the desert are increasing.
  • Cairo: Which was earlier dry, is now in the grip of floods.

Extreme condition in 17 cities like Dallas, Jakarta, Melbourne

Research identified 17 cities where climate imbalances are causing serious problems.

  • Dallas: After a long drought, a sudden storm and flood risk.
  • Jakarta: The city is continuously sinking, affected by floods and droughts.
  • Melbourne: Fire in the forests and then havoc with sudden rain.
  • Nairobi: Crops destroyed by drought, risk of floods and diseases after rain.

According to research, Karachi and Sao Paulo close to ‘Day Zero’

Researchers believe that if climate change is not immediately noticed, many cities of the world may have to face ‘de zero’ i.e. the condition of water ending. Karachi and Sao Paulo are in the biggest threat. Apart from these, Nairobi, Khartum and Jakarta are also considered to be a city fighting a serious water problem.

According to Experts, if the speed of climate change is to be reduced, big cities will have to improve their drainage system and adopt a policy of water conservation. If steps are still not taken, it will be difficult to live in cities over the next few decades.
