New Delhi:
Before the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, it seems that the INDIA Alliance of opposition parties is about to come to an end. In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress had jointly contested 7 seats in Delhi under the INDIA Alliance. But now AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal has made it clear that the Delhi Assembly elections are between AAP and BJP. INDIA Alliance has no role in this. Congress has not yet given any reaction on this statement of Kejriwal (Arvind Kejriwal), but India’s ally Omar Abdullah has expressed his views on this. Jammu and Kashmir CM and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah said that if the opposition is not united, it would be better to end the INDIA Alliance.
AAP and Congress, included in INDIA, had jointly contested the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, Goa and Gujarat. The alliance completely failed in Delhi. BJP had won all 7 seats. After this, AAP and Congress contested separately in all the assembly elections held till now. The tensions between both the parties regarding seat sharing were clearly visible in Haryana elections. Now both the parties are contesting Delhi elections separately. Both these parties are also making statements against each other.
No clarity on leadership, agenda and issues
Omar Abdullah said, “It is unfortunate that there has been no meeting of the INDIA block. Who will lead? What will be the agenda? How will the alliance move forward? There has been no discussion on these issues. There is no clarity on this.” That is why there is no clarity about the leadership, agenda or our existence. If this alliance was only for the Lok Sabha elections, then it should be ended now.”
AAP has the ability to defeat BJP
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said, “The political parties contesting in the Delhi Assembly elections should decide how to counter the BJP. Earlier, AAP had got success there twice in a row, so this time Delhi’s We will have to wait for what the public will decide.”

AAP has also got the support of Shiv Sena UBT. Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut said that BJP launched projects before the elections and then did nothing for 5 years.
