New Delhi:
Nothing is going well in the INDIA alliance for some time now. The situation has become such that now the leaders of all the different parties under this alliance are seen attacking the Congress. These leaders are also blaming Congress to some extent for the ‘weakening’ condition of the alliance. He believes that because of Congress, the alliance does not seem to be standing as strongly under one banner as before. A few days ago, Omar Abdullah had said that to keep the alliance strong, a meeting should be called once again.
Sanjay Raut also expressed concern
According to media reports, senior Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut had also raised questions on the non-holding of INDIA alliance meetings. He said that we had contested the Lok Sabha elections together. We also got better results in that election. After the Lok Sabha elections, it was our responsibility and especially that of Congress to work towards strengthening the India alliance. What should have happened was that we should sit together and show the way forward, such planning should be done. But since the Lok Sabha elections, not a single meeting of the alliance has been held. This is not right for INDIA. If there is mutual distance between the parties within the alliance, then Congress is responsible for it to some extent. This is because no coordination or discussion is taking place.
Cracks visible in Delhi too
The mutual tussle within the INDIA alliance has come out with the announcement of Delhi Assembly elections. While Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are contesting separately in Delhi Assembly elections, in this election different parties of INDIA alliance are seen supporting Aam Aadmi Party except Congress. A few days ago, Samajwadi Party and TMC had talked about supporting Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi Assembly elections. In this Delhi election, Congress is contesting on its own but if we talk about alliance, it is looking isolated.
Kejriwal also gave a statement
A few days ago, Aam Aadmi Party convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had held a press conference regarding the party’s announcements regarding the Delhi Assembly elections. During this press conference, when he was asked how he sees Congress in this election, he said that it is you people (media) who take Congress seriously, the public has started taking Congress seriously long ago. Have left.
Omar Abdullah also said a lot
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had said a few days ago that after the Delhi Assembly elections, he should call a meeting of all the members of the alliance. If this alliance was only for parliamentary elections then it should be ended. And after ending the alliance, let us work separately. And if this is also for the assembly elections, then we will have to sit together and work on further planning.
Let us tell you that in the recent past, Omar Abdullah and Sanjay Raut are not the only leaders who have given such statements regarding the INDIA alliance. In recent times, Akhilesh Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal and Mamata Banerjee have also been giving such statements from time to time regarding the fading importance of the alliance.
