Exciting News: Vikram Lander Wake-Up Date and Discoveries on the Moon!

Vikram Lander -In an instigative space charge, India’s ISRO successfully landed the Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover on the Moon on August 23, 2023. This was a proud moment for India and ISRO’s scientists. During their two- week lunar day, the lander and rover made some cool discoveries. But now, they have gone to sleep because they can not charge their batteries without sun.

Vikram Lander Wake- Up Date

ISRO says the Vikram Lander will wake up on September 22, 2023, which is just 10 days down. They put it to sleep on September 4, 2023, to keep it safe from the Moon’s super cold temperatures, which can drop to-200 degrees Celsius. Scientists are hoping the lander will wake up when the Moon’s sun rises in thatarea. However, ISRO can continue exploring the Moon’s south pole and uncover further Moon secrets, If it does. Right now, scientists are staying for this instigative moment to be so they can learn further about our lunar neighbor.

Vikram Lander’s Discoveries

The Vikram Lander has some cool widgets onboard, like the Instrument for Lunar Seismic Activity( ILSA) and Micro Electro Mechanical Systems( MEMS). These tools helped it record” moonquakes,” although ISRO says these are natural. The lander also has a small rover called Pragyan, which is about the size of a small canine. Pragyan has been busy measuring the Moon’s face temperature, which can get really hot, reaching 60- 70 degrees Celsius. It also set up some sulfur and other stuff on the Moon.

Now, we are all staying for the Vikram Lander to wake up from its nap when the Moon’s sun rises. It will be a big deal if it keeps working for a long time.
